By using BiteSafe, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Medical Disclaimer

BiteSafe is a food and symptom tracking tool. It does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The "Possible Triggers", "Insights", and AI-generated reports use pattern matching and artificial intelligence based on your logs and should never replace professional medical evaluation.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making dietary changes or medical decisions.

Intended Use

BiteSafe is designed to help you log meals and symptoms over time and share summaries with your healthcare provider. It is a personal tracking aid, not a diagnostic tool.

AI Features

BiteSafe uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to provide meal scanning, food analysis, menu analysis, meal suggestions, and wellness reports. These AI features are supplementary tools and their outputs should not be treated as medical or nutritional advice. AI results may contain inaccuracies.

Subscriptions

BiteSafe offers optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions managed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Data Ownership

You own all data you enter into BiteSafe. Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not claim any rights to your personal data.

Limitation of Liability

BiteSafe is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any health decisions made based on information displayed in the app. In case of a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
